Biography: “My art is about “Four Corners history.” -Roger Kull

“Creativity is illusive and non-definable. Since it is intangible and elusive, I reach for the work ethic. Work ethic develops skill and when your skill is fine tuned, the illusive creativity is constantly peeking over your shoulder. Work ethic carries me more than anything else. I don’t make excuses. The appreciation of what I do inspires me. This is my life’s work.”

Roger Kull lives in Cave Creek, Arizona. His pictorial leather sculptures reflect the history of the “Four Corners” region in the three-dimensional leather sculptures he creates.

Each picture is a one of a kind original with no duplications, all his work is freehand. Utilizing the natural hues of leather and specialized dyes along with the colorful blues of turquoise, there is a continuous flow between tradition and innovation creating constant interest in his sculpted three-dimensional work. To create this highly evolved art form, Roger's skill along with his imagination, developed an art form previously ignored, making leather a fine art and is now taken to a higher level than thought possible. There is no stamping or pressing of the leather.

Roger Kull’s unique work is currently represented in over 20 Southwestern Fine Art Galleries nationwide. With 27 years as a full time artist. His dedication to his research and study of his craft, makes his unique art work highly collectable.
