Biography: Born 1971 in Mannheim, Germany I started as an autodidact and engaged myself in black and white photography quite early. Fascinated by the tonality and richness of gray shades in masterpieces of Ansel Adams, Robert Häusser, Man Ray or Edward Weston I enlarged and printed the photographs myself, combing the advantages of digital fine art printing and the unexcelled quality of "classic" films like the Agfa Scala black and white slide film.
Today I work as a freelance photographer and concentrated on the mid-west of the United States of America in the last years.
