Biography: Alexander and Elena Suchkov are artists from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. We are glad to introduce to you some of our works produced the last seven years.
We were both born in 1961 in the South of Russia. We received our artistic education in the best traditions of Russian academic realistic school in Saint Petersburg. We work in different genres: landscape, still life, portrait, genre and historical painting, battle-painting and still life with arms. We also enjoy painting animals.
Since 1985, we have regularly exhibited our works in Russia and in several other countries of Europe, America and Asia. We also took part in an exhibit in China timed to the summit meeting of the presidents of Asian region countries in 1996 (the exhibit was dedicated to the centenary of the foundation of the Council on Security and Cooperation in Europe). Many of our paintings were put up for auctions, and were bought by private collectors and different companies from Russia, Japan, USA, China, Germany, Greece, Canada, Armenia and France.
