Biography: Bradford Darnell Lee carves stone. The art of stone carving is a strenuous one. Using hammers, chisels and rasps to help the form emerge takes all of his physical and emotional energy. Because of this he spends time in other related artistic pursuits. Papier Mache masks and birds are his alternative media of choice. “It allows me to create in a three dimensional manner, yet it challenges my imagination with the addition of color and mixed media.”
