Biography: 1922 Born in Mie prefecture
1940 Entered an art school in Nakanoshima, Osaka
1955 Became a member of Gutai Art Association founded by Jiro Yoshihara. Participated in the First Gutai Art Exhibitionin Tokyo.
1956 Life Magazine covered the activities by the Gutai group.
1957 Michel Tapie visited Japan.
1958 The Gutai Group Exhibition, Martha Jackson Gallery, New York,etc.
