Biography:
In her work Ballard strives to go beyond the visible to what is felt and not seen. Her subjects are landscape based and include water and architecture. She works mainly in black and white, using film and later digitises her images.
She gained a sound knowledge of photography from working as a Photographer's Assistant in London before going on to complete her degree in Editorial Photography at the University of Brighton, in the UK.
This British photographer now lives and works in Toledo, Spain.
