Biography: Michael Chiago (born 1946)is of Tonoho O'odham tribe in Southern Arizona. Media: acrylic and watercolor. His subjects are the daily life and ceremonies of the Sonoran desert native traditions. These include both original and Christian practices. He is represented in the Avery Collection, American Indian Art and Artists, at the Arizona State Museum of the University of Arizona.
He illustrated the children's book, Singing Down the Rain ; Kiva Publishing, 1997, ISBN: 1885772076.
