Biography: Constantine Cionca has been involved the arts for over thirty years, working in a variety of creative medium as oil, acrylic, mixed media, For the past twelve years Constantine has channeled his expression and artistic experience from oil and acrylic painting into digital art. He took a few computer art classes and web design in New. Most of his images are created using Photoshop, illustration, FreeHand and Flash MX For Constantine, digital art is also an creative act of picking up line, forms and colors, balanced them by the composition order. Each new piece of art created is a fresh experiment of aesthetic communication of his artistic inner.
Born in1955 and raised in Drobeta-Romania, an ancient city on the Danube River. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest-Romania.
Constantine was among some other artist selected for Vision VIII, International Juried Art Exhibition at the Cathedral Basilica at Haward Hall, Kentucky, as at Touchstone Gallery, Washington DC.
Currently his artwork can be viewed in online at Period Gallery, Imaginestation Gallery, Silicon Valley Art Museum, and on Descent of the Holy Spirit's colection of the Romanian Orthodox Cathedral in Ridgewood, NY.
Constantine Cionca won the best prize assigned to the cartoonists artists at the “Tanase’s National Cartoonist Competition, sponsored by the United Romanian Artists Association, and prize for the abstract painting at the 62nd Annual National Convention Exhibit at Lincoln Center , NYC sponsored by CAAA
