Biography: Indian artists network is exhibiting paintings of its award winning 50 artists at Taman ISmaqil Marzuki in Jakarta,Indonesia from 27thAugust till 9th September 2007.

Contemporary of world famous Progressive
Indian artists group of 1940s, Mr.K.M.Shenoy (75),
reputed for his free-flowing creative drawings and
astonishing brush strokes, was felicitated by prestigious
K.H.Ara memorial Trust in 1990 at Artists Centre in Bombay.
Reecently he has been felicitated by Art society of India, (one of the oldest and largest Artists’ organizations in India established in 1918) at it’s glittering annual function in India’s most famous Jehangir art gallery in Bombay in 2004 for his outstanding lifetime contribution to Indian art.
"Late Mr.K.M.Shenoy award for best entry of the exhibition" has been installed in its prestigious Annual arts exhibition of Bombay Art society--the biggest and oldest artists organisation in the country.
His mastery over lyrical, rhythmic and dancing
line drawings and meaningful paintings remains legendary
till today. His creative touch imparts a new meaning and depth
to his subjects and mesmerize the viewers with its magical impact.
With most of his artworks acquired by art buyers
around the world, these original drawings and paintings
displayed here are from his personal collection and
being exhibited for the first time since
they were created in1950s.
Hundreds of artists from various states of India
will also remember him forever for his encouragement
to them when they were young, through his Art Plaza
movement established by him to give platform to talented
and upcoming artists to display their work in Bombay
