Biography: Roxana is only 23 years old and has been painting before she could read or write. In the beginning, she used acrylic colors and then at age of nine she began painting with oils on canvas. Roxana was the first child in Romania who had a personal exhibition with whole event closely watched by mass-media. She was highly praised by the world of Plastic Art and encouraged by celebrities of the cultural life, as well as by the mass-media. Roxana Donisanu has a very rapid ascension in the art world. She has been invited to national television shows moderated by Mr.Adrian Paunescu or Mr.Ion Cristoiu and had many news articles written about her in a very short time.
In 1996 was accepted in the "Henry Coanda National Foundation" for support of extremely talented Teenagers.
Between 1994-1999, she had 15 one-woman exhibitions in Art Galleries and Cultural institutions in the cities of Bucharest,Cluj Napoca,Buzau,Bacau,Tg-Mures and Iasi. She impresses her onlooker and critics with her unique style.
