Biography: Ilgvars was born on the 24 September 1962 in the Republiv of Latvia. Between 1984 and 1987 he study at the Riga Applied Art College and between 1988-1992 at the Latvian Academy of Arts. He has had a number of solo exhibitions in Spain, Italy, Estonia, Denmark, Russia, Latvia and is a member of the Artists Union of Latvia since 2001.
