Biography: Alexandre Levich was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1963. He graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute. Since 1990 he has been a member of the National Society of the Artists of Ukraine. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the Ukraine and Russia and his outstanding work is represented in various corporate and private collections in the Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Sweden and other countries. Alexandre has not only focused his career upon painting but has been involved in the making of several monuments and memorial signs. His paintings show buildings or ships often closely intertwined with the surrounding landscape. By the usage of light, warm colours Alexandre creates a subtle, magical atmosphere on his canvases.
