Biography: David Istvan was born in 1982 in Romania. He graduated from the Plastic Arts High School 'Romulus Ladea' in Cluj-Napoca in 2001. David Istvan participated in numerous group exhibition in Romania and also showed his outstanding work in solo shows at the 'Melody' Hotel in Cluj and at the Cluj University's galleries. David Istvan and his cutting-edge portraits are making their debut to England with EE Fine Art. He skilfully captures dramatic gestures, facial expression and strong emotions in oil on canvas. He predominantly works on large sized canvases (around 120 x 120 cm) and his oversized faces draw immediate attention
