Biography: Biography:
Andre Turenne was born in Granby, Quebec in 1941. He has attended many educational art facilities from which he diploma’s and degrees including Institute de Technologie de Montreal, L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Montreal, Universite de Sherbrooke and Universite de Quebec a Montreal. In 1974 he received his Bachelors of Education. Andre has participated in numerous exhibitions since 1972.
Andre carefully analyzes his subjects, absorbing the details in his mind, before interpreting the most important ones on to canvas. His vision is always close to the nature of the subject, creating a great sense of realism, but without the minor details.
