Nathan Letovsky was born in Montreal, Quebec. He studied at various art institutions throughout Quebec including painting at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, drawing at l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts, along with studies at the Saidy Bronfman Centre. He is a student of Stanley Crosgrove, Arthur Lismer, as well as other established Canadian painters .He was a very active participant in some of the most exciting times of the Quebec Artist Revolution.
Inspired by the works of German artist Max Lierbermann, Nathan took to developing his own style of abstract painting; also incorporating expressionism in his style .His body of work mostly consists of landscapes and non-objective abstract paintings. His studio is in the Quebec Laurentians, where he spends his time continuously creating new works.
