The reflections of OVIDIO, one of the scarce fishermen that may be run across the Quarter of La Soledad, opens the series PROFILES from La Soledad, a set of audiovisual artworks in various formats which have the common purpose of approaching to different living aspects of this quarter, genuine heart -alltogether with the Quarter of Los Remedios- at Cimadevilla, peninsula from which the city of Gijon, located in the north of Spain, was growing up to its present-day boundaries.
Ovidio, along with his wife and his daughter, Raquel and Rebeca, are a young family that keeps the inshore fishing tradiction, way of life and support of this quarter from its origins.
