Reflections 2007 Winners' Exhibition:
The title and theme of this all-media International Competition was chosen to allow for the many possible interpretations of the word "reflections".
We received a very diverse mix of Artwork images (in concept, style and media) for this open Competition, which made the final decisions difficult. In the end, the jury chose three exceptional women artists to be presented as Winners in this "Reflections 2007 Winners Exhibition".
The "Reflections" theme was interpreted in a wide variety of ways, from traditional to controversial, from the more contemplative reflection of Celeste Rapone (First Place Winner) to a visually literal reading in the case of Denise Jones Adler (Second Place Winner), and then to the outright provocation of Lucie Boswell (Third Place Winner).
