Information: Modern and contemporary art gallery that offers works from the foremost leading modern painters sculptors and multi-media artists. The art gallery exposes group and solo exhibitions with artists who come from all directions and so create an interpretative tension in the individual and collective consciousness. The exposition ART/LIFE is intended to bring art that is created from a particular personal experience. Here the artworks enter into a intense dialogue with each other, artists turn their personal life experiences into visualizations of time, myths or in conceptualizations of sculptures. Galerie Cartwright is designed by the architect Claudio Silvestrin, he studied at the Architectural Association in London, where he lives and practices. His works encompasses to day objects, domestic and commercial interiors, public galleries and houses.Clients include Giorgio Armani, Illy Cafe, Anish Kapoor and Calvin Klein. A book of his works and writings has been published by Octavo with Italian text and Birkhauser with English text. Claudio Silvestrin's integrity, clarity of mind, inventiveness and concern for details is reflected in his rigorous minimal architecture; austere but not extreme, contemporary yet timeless, calming but not ascetic, strong but not intimidating, elegant but not ostentatious. For the realization the gallery worked with the architects and engineers EGUS from Ghent. Mostly known for their houses but also realized schools, a hotel, restaurants, offices and industrial buildings.
