“The Creator of Man molded the body from the earth and endowed it with the divine and life giving spirit” is the motto of this newest series of work based on religious theme of Constantine Cionca exhibition.
On this present body of work, as a Christian artist, Constantine explores the relationship between the traditional religious art, the expression of symbolical figurative forms, the spiritual reality of religious life, and the new artistic expression, of the new media.
In contrast to classical art, the artist using a computer depends on the hardware and software accessible at the moment. Fortunately, many solutions to graphic problems are designed that they can be used for esthetic applications. The artist is looking also at both: the possibilities of expression provided by the computer language, and the imagination, creativity and sensitivity of the artist.
The form and content of the message presented to the public are other two aspects that have to be considered in this exhibition
