Gallery Statement:
NEWTOWN FINE ART TRADERS was established in May 2007. The gallery is situated on Wilson Street, off King Street, Newtown in NSW, Australia. It is a purpose built space showcasing emerging as well as established artists, with regular exhibitions. Directors Liz Buchmann and Claudius Wilms formed Newtown Fine Art Traders with the intention of establishing the integrity of the gallery by promoting artists whose dedication and passion are paramount.

Liz Buchmann, who has worked in the industry for nearly 20 years, is a qualified curator and dealer whose knowledge and enthusiasm has helped establish significant private and corporate collections. Liz and Claudius are passionate about developing relationships with artists and clients, building a strong and confident environment for the future of Australian contemporary art.
