Gallery Statement:
Diversity Innovation Enthusiasm
Galeria Posibila is an exciting and dynamic cultural space, established in mars 2003 in Bucharest, to provide an innovative centre of exhibiting contemporary art, to place artworks in domestic and corporate environments.
The creativity of new wave of Romanian artists wishing to be accepted by the art market and the small number of institutions involved in that direction motivates us.
It is also a fact that, during the last years, the audience and general interest in contemporary art has increased and developed in Romania.
Opened by the its manager, Matei Caltia, and a young team of specialists, Galeria Posibila wishes to encourage current tendencies, emerging and mid career artists, through promotion, exhibition and placement.
Many artists that we exhibit are unknown to the general public and also to the commercial arena so that the gallery operates as a cultural context for young artists to launch their careers.
What we really want is to sell art, but it’s our belief that, in order to do so, we have to develop the dialogue between the artwork and the public. We seek to create this medium of establishing art values assumed by everyone.
As so our gallery operates as an attraction for the public and a cultural resource within the local art market.
The Gallery aim to provide cultural diversity and visual identity into a developing art market.
