Gallery Statement:
The Kosova Art Gallery is an art institution founded in 1979. During the five years after the war, Kosova Art Gallery has organized more than 100 collective and individual exhibitions, local as well as international. Thousands of artists participated in these exhibitions, which were visited by hundreds thousands of art lovers.
The most successful exhibitions, organized annually, are: The international Ceramics exhibition; The international Artistic Photography exhibition, prize “Gjon Milli”; The International exhibition, prize ”Muslim Mulliqi”.
The Kosovo Art Gallery has published many catalogues and brochures, among which is the Monography “Contemporary Arts of Kosova”.

Being the only cultural institution for presenting visual arts in Kosova, this institution deals with promotion of traditional arts as well as new trends of contemporary art. KAG makes sure that esteemed Kosovo artists remain such, through organizing retrospective exhibitions in Kosovo and abroad. It is also a channel through which new artists find their path towards the world public.
KAG organizes workshops and lectures from different local and international art experts. The Kosova Art Gallery has its doors opened for Artists from other countries or for that matter, institutions, interested to enrich the cultural life in Kosovo or exchange art experiences.
Up till now, The Kosova Art Gallery participated in many international exhibitions, such as is Paris, Tokyo, Bombay, Augsburg (Germany), Brno (Czech Republic), Tirana, etc.
