Gallery Statement:
La Mostra Gallery is Cardiff’s first commercial art gallery to exhibit Italian and International paintings, sculpture and object d’art exclusively. La Mostra Gallery is an exhibition space in which visitors and artists can interact, a centre of cultural communication; where the visual arts can enchant and make one think. By means of this, La Mostra Gallery wishes to make the market know the Italian cultural philosophy, its art, elegance and prestige.

La Mostra Gallery is situated in the prestigious area of Cardiff Bay, the new business and leisure heart of the welsh capital, and is perfectly located in the attractive area of Mermaid Quay, near the new Wales Millennium Centre. The Gallery periodically holds group and personal exhibitions, with special evening openings and private viewings. The Gallery cares to ensure that the standards of service and hospitality are of the highest standard for its clients. The interior of the gallery has been specially designed by an Italian Architect, who has created a space that reflects a cosmopolitan ambience and enhances the visitors viewing of the art all combined in an environment that can only be described as chic.

The Gallerist is an art lover who, after having worked in various positions around the world, decided to combine his personal interest in the arts, his Italian origins and his business background, in an enterprise that would allow him to promote Italian and international art in Wales.

To reach his mission, he has used his personal contacts, built up during his years in Italy, to contract some of the most interesting Italian artists of the moment, who will bring to Wales their art, their personal and artistic experience and their Italian flare. So, visiting the gallery, the viewers are able to travel with the artists, exploring their different approaches, topics and feelings, enjoying figurative fascinating landscapes, expressionistic exotic country tales, as well as unique Lilliputian sculptures, or inspired abstract artwork.
