Gallery Statement:
Shanghai Gallery of Art is located in a historic building on the Bund and is part of Three on the Bund, an integral project where art, culture food, fashion converge to inspire a richer life. SGA produces a series of inter-disciplinary and thought provoking exhibition projects by first tier Chinese and international contemporary artists. We are committed to create an open platform for promoting curatorial activities, criticism, public programs in order to foster a dialogue between the public and the art community. Our focus is on experimental contemporary art practices of all forms of media and content and to explore the richness and contradiction of contemporary China as a context for artistic production.
