Sumi Studio welcomes Ms Nancy Lee as our Premiere Artist of the Month. Please sample Nancy’s sumptuous array of juicy sumi ink and watercolor delights by clicking on VIEW GALLERY IMAGES.

The Sumi Studio Web Gallery displays and offers for sale collective and individual works of sumi-e art. Proceeds benefit The Sumi Arts Foundation Enterprises or S.A.F.E... SAFE is dedicated to raising funds to create and support a sumi-e program for school-aged children and youths.
NOTE- Up to 100% of the proceeds from Sumi Studio will be used to provide art supplies and instruction so all students will have an equal opportunity to develop their creativity and raise their hopeful awareness.

The S.A.F.E. Mission is to provide a sumi-e (brush painting on rice paper) program called "You Can Sumi, Too". Students experience the spontaneous creativity of sumi-e and other techniques as a complete discipline (mind, body, spirit). In addition to developing confidence and respect for the materials, "You Can Sumi, Too" encourages the formation of high personal standards and respect for fellow men and women. Through our practice and teaching, we strive to produce individuals who are positive, respected and contributing members of society.

Our Vision is to offer the "You Can Sumi Too" program to schools and after school programs as well as other institutions and At-Risk Programs.
