As a highly respected community arts
organization, The Taller Boricua (translation: Puerto Rican Workshop)
continues to be a proactive resource for the promotion of the arts. We
enable the art to function as an essential nucleus to the community by
fostering and supporting creative means of expression across all mediums.

The Taller Boricua was established as a non-profit organization in New
York in 1970. We have since expanded into a multi-cultural institution by
providing a variety of programs that stimulate social, cultural and
economic development. Our exhibitions, programs and workshops offer
artists the opportunity to share ideas and inspirations with colleagues,
enhance productivity and collaborations with other non-profit
organizations, schools, artists, public service providers, private
corporations as well as the local community.
