Gallery Statement:

The place to find today's edgy, experimental, truly significant art...

Curatorial Freedom to Explore New Art and Ideas...

XPERIMENTART Center for the Contemporary Art is an art center founded in 1999 by a group of arts professionals and artists. Located in the heart of New York, XPERIMENTART offers a wide-range of exhibitions and public programs that purposely broaden the opportunities for national and international curators and artists wishing to gain access, visibility and critical attention in New York. A Place to find today's edgy, experimental, truly significant art.

XPERIMENTART's mission is to foster knowledge and promote a more diverse appreciation of contemporary art and culture from around the world. Since its inception XPERIMENTART has been engaged in a pro-active approach to art making and exhibition practices, with strong emphasis on introducing innovative ideas that further the public's appreciation of both recent and earlier contemporary art history. In addition to being a Mecca for collectors, artists, students, major scholars and critics, XPERIMENTART has made specific efforts to reach out to the surrounding New York communities and residents. XPERIMENTART maintains close associations with an international network of galleries, institutions, non-profits and independent curators, and serves by virtue of its location and its focus as counterforce to the nowadays-dominant commercial art environment.
