Artwork Description:
IN FULL BLOOM.. SOON AS YOU ENTER PAULINE AND JACKS RESIDENCE, ENTER THE SPACIOUS LIVING ROOM AREA, WITH THE HUGE WINDOWS TOWARDS THE GARDEN, THESE INTENSE ORANGE RED BLOSSOMS CATCH YOUR EYE.. CAN'T RESIST, TO
GO CLOSER AND SEE... CAUGHT MY BREATH... SPECIALLY BEAUTIFUL AND ABUNDANTLY BLOOMING THIS YEAR.. These Kaffir Lillies, also named Clivia miniata, originate from Afrika. They are tuberous, and evergreen perrenials. This one is 'Flame' , an French/Belgian hybrid, with exceptional
hot orange red blooms on thick, rigid stalks- and very wide, dark green leaves.. at least two feet long, the largest. The 'Flame' Kaffir Lilly thrives in containers, as you see. Once they are done blooming, they will get later ornamental red berries. I will upload several photos. Sizeof photo flexible. I will mention one.
