Artist Statement

I believe that my art should bring smiles to people's faces. When I was young I was highly political and everything I did had to have a message.
During my life, my son Dennis was killed at 16 years old and my whole world changed. The pain was unbelieveable. I would not have made it except for the love that my son Conor gave me and gives me to this day.
I decided that I only wanted to create beauty. I like to bring joy and colour into the world. I have travelled all over the world with my camera, and now I am a grandmother of two beautiful boys and am involved with people with developmental disabiliites helping them to become a part of their community and I do this through art.
